"I wish I could do more."
That is the comment we often hear from friends of Columbia College Chicago when they make gifts in support of our programs.
What if it were possible to make a gift of "startling significance,"
the kind of contribution many friends of Columbia College would like to make, if only there were some
way to do it? We're talking about gifts that truly make a difference,
that ensure a level of support that magnifies our ability to fulfill our mission and that multiply your personal satisfaction
and recognition.
Strange as it may sound, a gift of "startling significance" can often be made at very low cost. It's just a matter of planning WHAT
to give, HOW to give, and WHEN to give. The information on these
pages illustrates many ways of making a "planned gift," and our
staff can be of help to you. Simply call or e-mail our office if you have any questions or wish to learn more.
The Alexandroff Legacy Society
The Alexandroff Legacy Society was established to honor Mirron “Mike” Alexandroff, president of Columbia College Chicago from 1962 to 1992, who helped to transform a struggling unaccredited school into the largest arts and communications college in the country. The Alexandroff Legacy Society honors those charitable donors who, like “Mike,” support the arts by designating a gift to Columbia College Chicago, whether in their estate plans or other ways.
Some of the membership benefits of the Alexandroff Legacy Society include invitations to exclusive receptions and events; a lifetime subscription to DEMO, the college’s dynamic alumni and friends magazine, featuring exposés on leaders in media, art, and communication; and esteemed recognition in the college’s annual report.
This website provides an overview of planned giving approaches and tools. To become a part of the Alexandroff Legacy Society, or to learn more about planned giving opportunities, please contact the Office of Institutional Advancement. All information will be held in complete confidence.
